Today I thought we'd see what's caught my eye on Pinterest and around the web in the past 24 hours. This is a bracelet made by women in Rwanda who survived the 1995 genocide. Produced under the guidance of Same Sky, a trade-not-aid initiative to help women make better lives for themselves and their children.
Wonderful storage which would cause Husband to cringe. I can hear him now: "Don't any of your friends have access to PAINT?"
A simple but powerful reminder to hang on the wall for moments when certain people with whom you hunt for houses are driving you up that very same wall.
A beautiful crocheted rug from Dotty Angel.
In our house hunt, not one single kitchen has had a backsplash like this. I think I was one of those people meant to be Swedish or Dutch but landed in the USA, home of the cherry kitchen and boring backsplash. Via Broarne in Sweden. Now, don't go getting all "You're unpatriotic, Pink" on me, unless you have a red, white and blue apple backsplash. Then, we'll talk. Have a gorgeous weekend everyone. We're making this tonight - what about you?
