I received an email from one of my favorite shops, dutch door press, about a special they are having today, where 100% of proceeds go to tsunami and earthquake relief in Japan. I imagine most of you are following the devastation with as much sorrow and disbelief as I am; witnessing the Dai-ichi plant try to contain radiation is excrutiating. So, if you feel like making a donation while also buying a tea towel, cards, or prints to hang on the wall, dutch door press offers quite a selection of beautiful and hopeful items. As an aside, if you're considering donating individually, I do think it's important to educate ourselves about donating non-restricted funds to charities you trust and reading about the multi-faceted approach to disaster recovery (and you thought you were here for pretty pictures and tales of Junior getting drunk on Lavoris.) For my Japanese readers, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Great post. lad you have connected helping others with getting pretty stuff! and just helping to process the tragedy.

Bought 2 sets of tea towels (lovely!) as a gift and was super glad for this update!
Love your aesthetic and charming ways of chatting about the Lavoris Adventures, or your inspirations ~ it's this kind of thing that gives me strength to carry on in these "interesting" and sometimes intimidating times.
