Folks, I realize my home decorating has been slacking lately. I don't get paid vacation so I have to work like crazy to take some time off. We are off to Ireland on Thursday for Placido's christening. In my short bursts of time I have been doing boring stuff like:
Working on pink kitchens
Organizing bookshelves
Hanging art
Finding christening attire (Dora shorts and barfed on rompers won't cut it. Those Irish...)
Tripping over Juniorette's luggage as she packs and repacks 75 stuffed animals four times a day
Trying to finish that darned chandy. When something is advertised as chippy - Pay attention!
Chasing after those to be christened as they themselves christen the cat door. It's not glam, but it is genuine life here at Casapinka. We are off on the Chicago - Dublin Aer Lingus flight on Thursday. If you're on board be sure to stop and say hi. I'll be the frazzled mom on Xanax with the white knuckles trying to replace above baby into the bassinet seat next to the 4 year old who insists on wearing a Dennis the Menace propeller hat at all times. It's not glam, but it's my life and I kind of like it.
Thank you, friends, for your continued support and showing me that I can do something creative with my life. Be well, and I'll be back in ten days barring any incident featured here: (Note to self....Stop clicking on this website.) Oh, and guess who gets to spend a day with Di Overton in her little cottage in England?
