Recycled Magazine Collages

I wanted to show you these collages I've been working but my goodness they are difficult to photograph! They are made using old magazines and covered with eopxy resin for a tough, shiny coat. The resin I'm using is virtually VOC free and environmentally friendly. It's quite labor intensive but I love the result. I'm plan to hang the one above (21X21) over my pink bathtub where the steam won't affect the eopxy coating.



























 

Pink Reverse Painting

I got this painting (it's a reverse painting on glass from 1956) a couple of weeks ago while on an Artist Date.  Do you guys know what that is? It's a suggestion from The Artist's Way and encourages creative types to take themselves on a date all alone once a week to do something FUN. I so highly recommend this book to anyone creatively blocked or creatively seeking.
