Wthin the foyer are now a couple of chinese hand painted lanterns.
You can see where they hang - i.e. in no place that could cause a remote complaint about possibly hitting one's head on a rock hard tassle. Not that we have people residing in Casapinka who would complain about such things. I kept the upstairs walls blue for now as I don't want an entirely white house.
Taken from the stairs, there's that gorgeous glossy brown fireplace!
Still on the fence as to what color to paint it, and the story behind the oil painting of the woman shall be told in another post, soon. Jeez, the entry looks so much brighter without that putty colored paint on the walls!
