Thought you might enjoy scenes from a 10th birthday party. Pink forks.
Blue water (with the laughing bday girl on the left)
Pink and purple pinata
And what's a birthday party without a lost molar while chewing on pinata candy? Always happy to send home a kid with her tooth in a baggie. Easiest party ever. 20 kids, a pool, garden hose which Husband repeatedly fired upon them much to their glee, a pinata, 5 large pizzas, chips, cold drinks and a CD of favorites like "YMCA," "Soul Sister,"and some old Debbie Harry and Bonnie Tyler. No party favor bags full of stuff for the landfill (I'm a total Scrooge that way). Nothing to do other than sit and watch the endless laughter. I gave them cake before dinner - my childhood dream - and let the party run itself. Juniorette is in a class of 17 at school and they are all very close. I credit school uniforms, teachers who are strict (and parents who allow it) but kind, and a strict no bullying climate. Man, are we lucky.
