"I'd like you to knit me this dress I designed," so said the 8 year old. I appreciate that she labelled it "dress" because subtlety is lost on me.
"Aqua collar? Couldn't we do aqua instead of teal?" so said the micro-managing mother who of course was shot down in a heartbeat.
Almost done - just the sleeves and collar to go. I'm such a sucker. I opted for easy, washable Cascade 220 and I have to say that I've never used banana yellow before. It's good to check something off the bucket list.
Beautiful, again. I love her drawing! And your yarn photographs with their varied colors and textures are so pleasing.

You are a blessing of a mum! I know what my mum would have said!! (be honest she cant knit for toffee but even if she could - well you get the point). For the record my mum loves me to pieces and would do anything for me, but knit me a dress on a whim....erm no.
You deserve a lovely mum medal!

What a cute design! I must say I do adore the teal collar. I also love the label on the drawing. That drawing is so cute I'd probably frame it. I hope we get to see a picture of Juniorette wearing this beauty!
