When I left Margaret's studio this afternoon, she was painting this enameled Indian cup. I wasn't even painting - I was freeloading. She made me a lunch of Seven Stars (a local cafe) ginger scones, clementines, tea and a boiled egg. I hung out on her sunny couch reading this. I really need a home that is not north facing -i.e has sunlight. Apparently someone asked her to change the cup in the painting to pink. I don't know how she did that with oils but I love it! I liked the turquoise too, of course. In unrelated news and in celebration of run-on paragraphs, I also ordered Juniorette two new Spring shirts. I didn't buy this bag even though I really liked it. Snaps for Pink! Have a peaceful weekend, everyone.
Dearest Casa, would you be inclined sometime to do a guest post for Pretty Far West? I think the readers deserve some of your colour and wit. I hope the household keeps well, and that a south-facing place comes your way soon.

But of course, PFW. I would be ever so delighted. I'm chuffed!
