Thanks to Mrs. Blandings for organizing the toast off to Breast Cancer Awareness month. I made this capelet (I call it the Raspeberry Cafe au Lait Capelet) and am offering it in a giveaway to one lucky, pink loving reader. It is made of very soft handspun and handpainted merino on top and alpaca and wool on the bottom, made for size S or M but could really fit anyone - just thread a satin ribbon through the top and tie as loosely as you need. If you'd like to enter, leave a comment (the drawing will be on October 20 and random, probably pieces of paper pulled from the frog potty that Junior refuses to use.) This summer one of my dear friends had both of her breasts removed and is in the middle of chemotherapy. She inspires me daily with her strength and friendship and pink happens to be her favorite color, so this one's for you, Deb. XXOO

Pink glass vases from Pieces
The Chateau Lamp which appears to have small pink chairs inside it. I just think it is incredibly sweet and covetable.
Also, please think about supporting a worthwhile cause or entering a walk or run for breast cancer.
