My daughter is obsessed with painting bunkbeds. It's almost the only thing she'll paint. They usually involve her stuffed lion or our cat landing on her brother who happens to be slobbering for some reason in the above painting (as she tells it.)
The pink one was for over her bed
The red one was for her brother and she kindly painted her purse collection hanging over his feet. I'm sure he is thrilled.
I bought lollipops to make a mobile for Junior but ended up making this epoxy resin/lollipop/magazine piece instead. It's called "Dream House" and was commissioned by my five year old. If the truth be told I mixed the epoxy on a very humid day and it never hardened. Now the lollipops are dripping and it's a mess.
This was a collective family effort. The pink thing is a picnic blanket.
My daughter did this painting of the two of us as mermaids. We were out of canvas so she resigned herself to forgoing another bunkbed painting. I love kid art so much - think about framing some and hanging it in your house!
