This would make a super dining room buffet, wouldn't it? Not sure what color, though.
I'd love to change out the knobs and lacquer this yellow for the kiddo's room. Oh, did I mention these vintage Thomasville pieces are at my local Salvation Army? Buffet is $135, dresser is $85 and end tables are $35. I believe they are from the same line as this Thomasville desk I scored at the Nashville flea market and painted turquoise last year.
Ah, to have my own house again!
Here is a piece from the line all doctored up via Shelterrific. Sorry for the Fomatting trouble - Typepad has been having trouble - thinking of switching to Blogger.

Wow, everybody's Salvation Army is better than mine. Ours is so ghetto. Did you get them or are you going to?

I switched to wordpress from blogger, because blogger was a pain in the tookas for formatting. Good luck trying to get your pictures in without adding weird spaces which you then cant take out.
Oh, and lots of people (including me) have trouble with comments. Looses blog urls, and they all come back as email address being noreply@blogger.com, even though the commmenter entered the correct address. Which is fine, if you arent interested in replying, ever, but extremely irritating the one or two times you REALLY want to.
Might want to play with it a bit before you commit.

Great idea using the one for a buffet. Remember Jo's shocking green buffet? Which she was supposed to mail to me (joke). I adore it! What about something like that?

Wow.. what fabulous finds.. that turquoise desk is so fun. I'm having a mild obession with turquoise/tiffany blue at the moment... but I love the way it pops against the wall paper!

I hope you purchased these pieces immediately! How about painting them in a high gloss royal blue?
This is my first visit to your blog and I LOVE it! I'm having a blast reading through your archives as it seems we have a very similar aesthetic.

Don't switch to blogger - just switch to Windows Live Writer - it's blogging with a windows interface. It will change your life - it's the single best thing I've done via blogging. try it - download it for free. you will be so happy. it's the absolute best.
