Another great Etsy find is Redheather's fashion illustrations. They are mixed media and then "enhanced" and made into limited editions of twenty-five. We had a wee lull in the ER last night and I found them. The other doc working with me just loved them and phoned me at 3am after she got home to get Redheather's shop name so she could buy one. Another Etsy addict born...
To update the Bugaboo saga, they have not acknowledged my complaint, unfortunately. I am still giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping for a reasonable outcome. Thanks to all of you for your emails and comments - the support caught me off guard and I appreciate it immensely. I got a number of recommendations to write to the Consumerist, and I did this, so we will now wait and see. At any rate, I googled "Bugaboo bad review" before buying mine and didn't find too much. The Pink Mohair post comes up number one in Google for this now, so at least people will know what sort of customer service they can expect should something go awry.

What a coincidink - I found that Etsy store over the weekend. REALLY pretty. I would have bought some for my bedroom but I think my bf would not appreciate them - bad enough the room has all sorts of pink in it. And good luck with the bugaboo saga...I'm rooting for ya.

The design students interior design/art schools are always displaying their fashion drawings on campus...as well as the interior design students displaying their architectural designs. I wonder if any of them would sell their drawings for a minimal price...or perhaps even commission something for Casa Pinka.

Wow. Those illustrations are seriously great. I'm always a sucker for splashy, watery color. I'm really getting a kick out of your blogs too.
